ROSSLYN magazine is brought to you by the Rosslyn Business Improvement District and Rosslyn Renaissance. Launched in 2006, the magazine expanded and upgraded the Rosslyn Renaissance Newsletter, which had been distributed in Rosslyn since 1992. Three times a year, in a full-color glossy magazine format, ROSSLYN presents news about the Washington region's premiere business district, Arlington County's "Manhattan on the Potomac."
The magazine covers urban design and development news, and lets you know about the latest cultural events in Rosslyn, profiles of the workers, residents and companies that shape Rosslyn. Although most articles are staff-written, from time to time freelancers, such as former TIME Magazine correspondent Bruce van Voorst, a Rosslyn resident, have contributed special features. The Back Story column offers behind-the-scenes stories you won't find anywhere else. People Place highlights members of the community making special contributions, and Street Talk covers the transportation system. Will Lynn Street and Fort Myer Drive ever become two-way streets again? Find out here!
In addition, ROSSLYN covers services provided by the Rosslyn BID, urban design projects under review by Rosslyn Renaissance, and the people who volunteer for both organizations to make Rosslyn the best it can be.
