About the Rosslyn BID

The Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) started operations on July 1, 2003 with an ambitious work program designed to make Rosslyn an exciting, urbane commercial center for its workers and residents. The work program is comprised of six categories:

Cleaning and Maintenance A four-person team works to keep Rosslyn’s streets clean and safe, and serve as goodwill amabassadors for the community.
Beautification A landscaping crew from The Brickman Companies provides enhanced beautification services for the Rosslyn BID, including annuals rotations, container gardens and tree pit improvements, as well as snow removal.
Community Activities and Events Lunchtime Concert Series at Spice of Life Plaza - May through September Rosslyn Farmers Market at Metro Park - Thursdays May through October Rosslyn Jazz Festival at Gateway Park - First Saturday after Labor Day LIGHT UP Rosslyn Celebration - First Thursday in December
Transportation, Parking and Pedestrian Programs Support for the Georgetown Metro Connection Shuttle Van Parking Signage Program
Marketing and Promotion Rosslyn Magazine Website for Rosslyn Rosslyn Map and Business Directory
Homeless Services Program Outreach worker from Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network (A-SPAN) works with Rosslyn’s homeless individuals to provide supportive services, including affordable housing.
