Community Partners

PathForward (Homeless Outreach)

The Rosslyn BID works closely with Arlington's homeless services organization, PathForward, which provides medical care, shelter, meals, housing, and employment opportunities for those who are able to work.

Rosslyn BID ambassador Mr. Chaney serves as our team’s outreach specialist, engaging with individuals on a weekly basis, providing first aid for minor injuries and building trusting relationships, with the goal of connecting those in need to PathForward.

ACPD (Off-Duty Patrol Program)

The Rosslyn BID partners with the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) to ensure the safety of the neighborhood. During the spring and summer months, the BID contracts an off-duty officer for the "Walking Officer Program," which runs three times a week. This safety detail focuses on business and resident engagement as well as addressing traffic and parking issues.

Arlington County Transportation

The Rosslyn BID’s work in transportation is an integral part of making Rosslyn more efficient and manageable. The BID works closely with Arlington County to improve access to and around Rosslyn for motorists, transit riders, bicyclists, and pedestrians with a focus on safety issues and encouragement of multimodal transportation.
