Cuffing season (noun) [ˈkəfiNG ˌsēz(ə)n]: the cold autumn and winter months seen as a period when it is especially desirable to enter into a romantic relationship; "It’s cold and it’s cuffing season; I should head to the Rosslyn BID's dating event!"
With the holiday season around the corner, join the Rosslyn BID for our first-ever Cuffing Season Tips & Sips event on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Assembly Food Hall!
Cuffing season, also known as that time of the year to find that special someone, is already underway, and the BID is here with a variety of programming to get you ready to take on the dating scene!
- Get a new profile picture: If your online presence is in need of a refresh, take advantage of our onsite photographer to snap the perfect profile photo for you!
- Learn dating do's and don'ts from an expert: Dating coach and founder of A Little Nudge, Erika Ettin, will be at the event to give you the best tips on how to improve your dating profile to help you find the perfect match.
- Mingle with fellow singles: Between sprucing up your digital dating profile, mix and mingle with other attendees in-person as you enjoy happy hour! Registrants will receive one drink token upon admission, and Assembly will have its standard happy hour menu available as well.
Registration is required, and the fee is $10 a person. We will be accepting a limited number of walk-ins at $15 a person, so make sure you register in advance to secure your spot for a fun (and educational) evening!
