Join the Rosslyn BID and R-DOGS for a spooky, pup-friendly Howl-O-Ween!
The Rosslyn BID and the Rosslyn Dog Owners Group (R-DOGS) are teaming up for a Halloween-themed evening of dog-friendly activities, treats, and fun at the Gateway Park Interim Dog Park on Friday, Oct. 28, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
We'll have pet-themed vendors, raffles, giveaways, and pet portrait sketches on-site! Dog costumes are strongly encouraged as we will be hosting our annual Halloween dog costume contest. Winners will be named in four categories (spookiest, cutest, most unique, and community choice) and receive a Rosslyn restaurant gift card and Rosslyn swag. To enter, you must register on-site at the Rosslyn BID table between 3:30-5:30 p.m.
There will be a dog parade across the street at Gateway Park East at 6:30 p.m. to show off all the costumes, and the winners will be announced at approximately 6:40 p.m. ahead of the final movie of the fall Rosslyn Cinema series, Scooby-Doo! We'll have a reserved "bark section," at the movie for you and your furry friend to enjoy the show together. Enjoy food trucks and a beer and wine bar while gearing up for a Halloween weekend with your pets!
