This event will take place rain or shine. 

On Mother's Day Weekend, drop by the region's premier spring flower market, the Rosslyn Blooms! Flower Festival. The festival will take place Saturday, May 11, on Central Place Plaza. 

Petworth florist Holley Simmons of She Loves Me will bring her unique cut-flower creations and live indoor plants to Central Place Plaza for a day filled with shopping, fun and activities for all ages. Occurring the day before Mother’s Day, the Rosslyn Blooms! Flower Festival will be a great opportunity to pick up last-minute gifts for mom or create your own by participating in several DIY workshops led by the talented team at The Lemon Collective. Prices range from $30-$80 for floral arrangements, with other gifts available for purchase. 

Schedule of activities

There will be two kids' workshops accessible to kids between 8 and 12 years old. They are free but registration is required. More information coming soon. We will also have coloring and sticker stations for younger children throughout the day. 

All the other workshops are open to the public, and recommended for people over 16 years old. Although all the workshops are subsidized by the Rosslyn BID, there is a registration fee for the adult workshops. Make sure to click on them for additional information and registration. Space is limited so make sure to buy your ticket quickly if you are interested.
