Join WalkArlington for a photowalk in Rosslyn with Photographer Angela B. Pan! They'll explore our vibrant urban neighborhood and some interesting spots nearby while Angela guides you on taking better photos with your cell phone.

Voted “Best Visual Artist in Washington, D.C.” by the Washington City Paper two years in a row, Angela B. Pan has had her images of Washington, D.C., published in the Washington Post, The White House Historical Association, and more. Her work has been featured in local galleries and publications of Apple, Lionsgate, and several luxury hotels. Her book, "Snap DC, Your Guide to Taking Extraordinary Photos of the National Mall and Beyond…" is the essential guide to photographing the nation’s capital. Her work may also been seen on postcards and 8″x10” prints sold at the National Mall’s book stores.

Getting here: Rosslyn is easily accessible by Metro, bus, or active transportation (walking, biking, bikeshare). The walk will start at Central Place Plaza, which is located at the Rosslyn Metro exits. Look for the WalkArlington table. Visit Car-Free Near Me (carfreenearme.com) to figure out the best route.

What to bring: A fully charged cell phone (or camera, if you've got one). We recommend dressing in comfortable walking shoes and warm layers.
