Join Friends of Theodore Roosevelt Island and the National Park Service on November 3 as they team up to remove invasive plant species from the island. These invasive plants threaten native trees, so it is important to periodically remove them to maintain the island's ecosystem.
All necessary training and tools (folding saws, loppers and hand clippers) will be provided.
Please wear sturdy shoes, pants and long sleeves as the group will be working off trail.
