Accenture launches Cyber Fusion Center in Rosslyn
Gov. Ralph Northam on hand for Grand Opening
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam visited Rosslyn last week for the Grand Opening of the Accenture Cyber Fusion Center at the CEB Tower at Central Place. According to an Accenture press release, the new flagship center will help organizations "apply new techniques and intelligent tools to defend against data breaches and cyberattacks." The company plans to bring 1,000 skilled technology jobs to the region by the end of 2020, the release says.
“We are delighted that Accenture is launching their U.S. Cyber Fusion Center here in the heart of Rosslyn,” says Rosslyn BID President Mary-Claire Burick, who attended today's Grand Opening event. “This state-of-the-art facility will draw upon highly skilled and qualified individuals in Northern Virginia’s workforce while showcasing the strength of Arlington’s established cybersecurity sector. We look forward to welcoming them to the neighborhood.”
