Celebrate Lunar New Year at restaurants in Rosslyn

Food is an important and symbolic part of celebrating Lunar New Year. Check out these Rosslyn restaurants for your next meal and to welcome 2025!

Gong Cha

Gong Cha is one of the most recognized bubble tea brands around the world, and you can find it in Rosslyn! Founded in 2006 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Gong Cha's success was proof that people loved the high-quality tea, products & services offered, including fresh brewed tea, pearl (bubbles) cooked to perfection, and strict quality control for all ingredients. Try Gong Cha's specialty “Milk Foam," which is a new take on tea-based drinks and is a slightly salted cream topping on freshly brewed tea.

Happy Eatery

Happy Eatery is a modern Asian food hall that brings the best and crave-able dishes from its Happy Endings Hospitality concepts under one kitchen. Enjoy a fusion of American favorites and traditional Vietnamese selections! Each batch of their pho is crafted with over 200 pounds of oxtail and knuckle bones along with beef that are enriched with ginger, lemongrass, daikon, and onion. It’s simmered for 18 hours, yielding a broth rich with flavor, depth, and health-boosting collagen.

Kam&46 (Upside on Moore)

Kam&46 offers Hawaii and Filipino fare with a modern take and nostalgic feels. For Elaine and Vanessa, the women behind Kam&46, cultural roots became a big part of who they are, especially when it comes to food. The dishes they create are inspired by the comforting flavors they grew up with, and they help us feel connected to their families even when they're far away.

Pho 75

Pho 75 is recognized as a standout Vietnamese restaurant, offering an authentic taste of Vietnam. Known for its simplicity and focus on quality, Pho 75 has become a favored spot for both locals and visitors. Owned and operated by individuals dedicated to preserving the essence of Vietnamese cuisine, Pho 75 has established itself as a staple in the Arlington community. Please note, Pho 75 is cash only, but an ATM is available in the restaurant for a small fee.

Saigon Noodles & Grill

Open seven days a week, Saigon Noodles & Grill is a comfortable neighborhood restaurant focused primarily on Vietnamese food. Owner and Arlington resident Tuan Nguyen says he wants his restaurant to feel like home for those who come dine there. Their menu includes a large selection of Vietnamese beef noodle soups (pho), rice and egg noodle soups, Vietnamese-style sandwiches (Bánh Mi), grilled meats and seafood, stir-fried foods and vegetarian entrées such as Buddha's Delight and sauteed tofu.

SeoulSpice

This Korean fast casual eatery now has a home in Rosslyn — the DMV area chain's first location in Virginia! With the mission to share the vibrant and delicious culture of Korea with the world, the brand's recipes come from the Shin family, which have been passed down from generation to generation. All of their entrees are inspired by traditional Korean comfort foods. The growing chain's rice bowls come from bibimbap, which are noodles from japchae, and the Korrito from gimbap. SeoulSpice respects the food they serve by using the best ingredients and preparing all their food from scratch.

Thai Select

At Thai Select, they strive to provide fresh, quality Thai-Japanese inspired fare for all. Their menu ranges from bento box items like house-made teriyaki to delicious lunch and dinner salads, sides, and entrees. For a special treat, bubble tea is always a hit!
