Lloyd Dobler Effect Brings '80s and '90s Top 40 Hits to Freedom Park

After giving a fun and high-energy performance at one of Rosslyn's recent outdoor beer gardens, Lloyd Dobler Effect returns to the neighborhood for this week's #TBT Throwback Thursday concert series. They'll be covering all your favorite Top 40 hits from the '80s and '90s.

Based in Silver Spring, Md., Lloyd Dobler Effect is named after John Cusak’s character in the 1989 comedy-drama Say Anything. They’ve performed on the same bill with such notable acts as Santata, Steve Winwood, The Fray and Jane's Addiction, and have been voted one of the top ten bands on the East Coast in a Washington Post reader’s poll.

The show is free. Beer and wine will be offered for $5 from Washington Wine Academy.

Here are the details:

WHEN: Thursday, June 25, 2015, 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
