Details
Sited on a triangular traffic island, this 4-ton sculpture consisting of 23 polished stainless steel arrows, suggests the language of street signs and the abstract qualities of movement and progress. Dedicated, appropriately enough, on Valentine's Day in 1994, Cupid's Garden is the creation of DC-based sculptor Chris Gardner.
Description: Stainless steel, with brick, sedum, rose and moonbeam plants. Twenty-three polished steel arrows, measuring up to 24 feet high and 75 feet long, and weighing over 4 tons.
