Rosslyn BID Safely Celebrates the Holidays All Season Long with Rosslyn Cheer
Get in the holiday spirit with a neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt, holiday gift basket auction, clothing drive and more in Rosslyn!
WHAT: This December, the Rosslyn BID invites you to celebrate the holidays with safe and fun activities all season long as part of their third annual Rosslyn Cheer program!
Join family and friends for activities like themed holiday gift basket auctions, a whimsical outdoor scavenger hunt, and more. Participate in the season of giving and clean out your closets with the holiday clothing drive in partnership with A-SPAN. Take a stroll through “Rosslyn Wanderland,” a series of charming, physically-distanced stations around the neighborhood with virtual surprise elements for the whole family to enjoy!
WHEN/WHERE: Enchanting holiday celebrations will take place throughout the Rosslyn neighborhood all winter long!
- Rosslyn Wanderland
- Beginning December 7 through January 10
- Cheerio, Rosslyn Cheer’s cute penguin mascot, will be hidden in murals throughout Rosslyn. Several of these installations will feature corresponding QR codes that you can scan with your phone to participate in virtual photo booths, a scavenger hunt, and even give Santa a call!

- Give back to the community safely this holiday season by donating clothes to multiple locations throughout Rosslyn (see webpage for details).
- Holiday Buying Guide

- Rosslyn is home to over 50 coffee shops, restaurants, gyms and other businesses. The BID has created an easy way for you to shop local and find something for every person on your list!
- Holiday Gift Basket Auction
- Through December
- If you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift and want to support local businesses, here’s your chance to bid on a curated gift basket with items from the Holiday Buying Guide! The Rosslyn BID will have several themed baskets available for the coffee lover, foodie, and fitness fanatic in your life that will be available to bid on throughout the month.
- Proceeds from the winning bids will benefit Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) to help the fight against hunger in Arlington.
