TGS Arlington hosts a magical ribbon-cutting event to welcome new preschool friends in Rosslyn

ARLINGTON, Va. (November 4, 2024) — The Gardner School, a leading comprehensive childcare and preschool provider, partnered with Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) to host a ribbon-cutting event marking the grand opening of its fifth D.C.-area preschool in Arlington’s vibrant Radnor-Fort Myer Heights neighborhood.

The free family-friendly event featured a children’s magic show, a face-painting booth, fall craft stations, and a coffee cart with specialty seasonal drinks for parents. The preschool officially opened in September and is currently enrolling children ages six weeks to five years old in its infant, toddler, and preschool programs.

“We loved having the opportunity to meet more families in the neighborhood and to showcase all the details that make TGS Arlington such a warm, nurturing space for children to learn and grow,” said Angie Anderson, who joined TGS in 2016 and serves as the school’s executive director.

Based in Franklin, Tennessee, The Gardner School operates 37 locations in seven states and the District of Columbia. Every TGS location utilizes a research-based curriculum incorporating STEAM education, child-directed play, and an emphasis on social-emotional development under the direction of highly qualified and experienced educators.

Supplemental enrichment classes at The Gardner School of Arlington include music, foreign languages, sports, and computer literacy. Other on-site features include the TGS Kids’ Cafe, technology lab, and spacious indoor and outdoor playscapes.

As part of its grand opening celebration, The Gardner School of Arlington is currently offering families the opportunity to lock in 2024 tuition rates through the end of 2025 by enrolling before December 31, 2024.
