City Social 2022 Recap
On May 19, the Rosslyn BID hosted its annual neighborhood celebration, City Social! For the first time in three years, our community came together again to recognize a variety of Rosslyn area businesses, including what’s new to the neighborhood, with a dozen restaurants, retailers, and community organizations represented at The View of DC.
The event began with a showcase around the room of our local partners, including a live ceviche demonstration from Inca Social and mocktails from Assembly, among others, listed below. We are so thankful to all of our local businesses and organizations that helped make this night a success!
- Anytime Fitness
- Arlington County Department of Parks & Recreation
- Arlington County Fire
- Arlington County Police
- Assembly
- BASH Boxing
- Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail
- Inca Social
- Loving Heart Holistic Wellness
- North Rosslyn Civic Association
- Radnor/Ft. Myer Heights Civic Association
- SEOULSPICE
We were also thrilled to honor many of our community’s most impactful members at the event, including two MVP awards, given to Lyndell Core and Jane Rudolph from Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation and R-DOGS founder Mary Ann Elliott for their respective support of Gateway Park and its adjoining Interim Dog Park. To round out our evening, we presented our first-ever Pinnacle Award to Rosslyn BID Board of Directors Chair Peter N. Greenwald for his long-standing service and dedication to our neighborhood and the greater Arlington community.
